Beaumont Community Development District
The Beaumont Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on March 26, 2018 by the City Commission of the City of Wildwood, Sumter County, Florida Ordinance No. 02018-16, to plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities described and authorized by Section 190.012(3)(a)(d) and (e), Florida Statutes., as long as they do not conflict with systems and facilities provided by the City of Wildwood.
The Beaumont CDD encompasses an area of approximately 153.55 acres entirely within the City of Wildwood, Sumter County, Florida as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities. The land within the District is generally located east of CR462 and north of CR 466A.
